Salutations! My name is Sean Alexander Kaiulani Chun. In this blog I am going to talk to you a little bit about my progress in my GameDevHQ Internship. First, I will show you a video on my progress after completing the “Galaxy Shooter Extras” Section in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course. Second, I will talk about retracing my steps to find solutions. Lastly, I will talk about starting the “Phase 1: Framework” Section.

Now that I have told about what I will be sharing with you in this Blog, here is a video on my progress after completing the “Galaxy Shooter Extras” Section in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course:

I have just shared a video on my progress after completing the “Galaxy Shooter Extras” Section in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course. Now I will talk about retracing my steps to find solutions.

Second, throughout the 2D Development Course I have been getting stuck on just about every section. With the help of a couple of other GameDevHQ Developer’s I have learned a few things about debugging for myself. The biggest challenges were moving too fast and overlooking mistakes in both the coding and the inspector. Most of the issues I have overcome could be fixed by revisiting the video lectures and retracing my steps.

I have just told you about retracing my steps to find solutions. Now, I will talk about starting the “Phase 1: Framework” Section.

Lastly, I will be working on the “Phase 1: Framework” Section which will be challenging for me, but I think if a take it slow and apply what I have learned I will be able to finish by next weekend. It is comforting to know that there is a lot of support to help people like me to learn game development in the GameDevHQ Internship. The “Phase 1: Framework” Section is the first of two sections that are the final steps to completing the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course.

In conclusion, I will be working hard this week to reach my personal goals. I look forward make more progress and to moving on to the next course.

Thank you.
