Salutations! My name is Sean Alexander Kaiulani Chun. In this blog I will be sharing with you a little bit about my progression in my GameDevHQ Internship. First, I will share with you video on my progression in the “Phase 1: Framework” Section of the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course. Second, I will share a little bit about working out the bugs in the ”Shield Strength” Challenge in the “Phase 1: Framework” Section. Lastly, I will share with you about how I am discovering that one thing leads to another thing in my progression.

I have just told you what I will be sharing with you in this blog. Let us begin with a video on my progression in the “Phase 1: Framework” Section of the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course:

I have just shared a video on my progression in the “Phase 1: Framework” Section of the GameDevHQ “2D Development” Course. Now, I will share a little bit about working out the bugs in the ”Shield Strength” Challenge in the “Phase 1: Framework” Section.

Secondly, I was very pleased to figure out the “Shield Strength” Challenge on my own. Although I can proceed to the next challenge, I would like to challenge myself to enhance the “Shield Strength” parameters. I would like to implement both the power down timer on the “Player Shield” along with the “Shield Strength”. The last bug I am troubleshooting is resetting the “Shield Hit Life” after the power down timer deactivates it. I am certain I will find the solution.

I have just shared a little bit about working out the bugs in the ”Shield Strength” Challenge in the “Phase 1: Framework” Section. Now, I will share with you about how I am discovering that one thing leads to another thing in my progression.

Lastly, as I progress in the GameDevHQ “2D Development” Course learning C# scripting in the program “Unity” I have encountered a few challenges. After overcoming every challenge I am finding new ways to challenge myself with refinements of “Game Object” behaviors. When I fix one bug another one is highlighted and some of these new challenges are not requirements of the 2D Development” Course work. Thus, I am discovering that one thing leads to another thing in my progression.

In conclusion, I am enjoying my GameDevHQ Internship in which I am learning C# Scripting through game development. I look forward to sharing more of progression with you soon.

Thank you.
