Salutations! My name is Sean Alexander Kaiulani Chun. In this blog I am going to share a little bit about my progress in my GameDevHQ Internship. First, I will share a video on my progress after completing the “Secondary Fire Powerup” Challenge of the GameDevHQ: 2D Development Course. Lastly, the GameDevHQ workshop on Friday, 18 December, 2020 was full of excitement starting off with the the presentation and release of “Nova Star”, a game created by my fellow interns. In my opinion, “Nova Star” is a spectacular collaboration resulting from the passions of like minded individuals. After the premiere of “Nova Star” the work shop began with Jonathan Weinberger showing us the various career opportunities the we can consider whether or not the Care Act funding will be extended into 2021. Jonathan walked us through his “Linkdn” network to show us how “Linkdn” is a great social media platform to market ourselves as Software Developers to create our own opportunities. Coming into the last week of this amazing program, the GameDevHQ Internship, Jonathan has been caring and considerate to everyone in the program beyond all expectations from start to finish. I am hoping that this program will be extended to give everyone the chance to start up a new career right away in 2021.
