Salutations! My name is Sean Alexander Kaiulani Chun. In todays blog I will tell you a little bit about the progress I have made in my GameDevHQ Internship. First, I will talk about the “Post Processing” section in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course. Second, I will talk about the “Game Audio” section in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course. Lastly I will share a video on my progression after completing both the “Post Processing” and “Game Audio” sections in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course.

I have told about what I will be talking about in this blog. Now, I will talk about the “Post Processing” section in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course.

First, when I loaded the “Post Processing” package I did not know at the time what was in store. I enjoyed seeing the transformation of my “Space Shooter” game after enhancing some of the visual graphics. Although, the capabilities of the post processing component in the development program “Unity” are vast, I chose to implement subtle enhancements for my game. Needless to say it looks great!

I have just told you a little bit about the “Post Processing” section in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course. Now, I will tell you about the “Game Audio” section in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course.

Second, when I added the first explosion effect in the “Game Audio” section the game started taking new life. In my opinion this was the most enjoyable section in the 2D Development Course. When the music and sound effects were coupled with the previously implemented visual effects, I felt a moment of relief that I had reached the final stages of building my very first video game.

I just told you a little bit about the “Game Audio” section in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course. Lastly, I will share a video on my progression after completing both the “Post Processing” and “Game Audio” sections in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course:

I have just shared a video on my progression after completing both the “Post Processing” and “Game Audio” sections in the GameDevHQ 2D Development Course. Now, this concludes todays blog. I look forward to sharing more about my progression in my GameDevHQ Internship in my next blog.

Thank you.
